Have you got Environmental Sensitivities?  or maybe you have never heard of Environmental Sensitivities (ES). Also known as Environmental IIllness (EI). ES is when one experiences health impacts after exposure to foods, chemicals, pesticides, moulds and other biotoxins, heavy metals, electromagnetic fields and radio frequencies (from wireless technologies).

Lucinda Curran of Eco Health Solutions and a member of the Australasian Society of Building Biologists suffers from ES herself and has created and is presenting her second online Environmental Sensitivities Symposium for the environmentally sensitive. The 2016 Symposium is scheduled for Oct 17-22.

So what is the low down with ES?

What are the symptoms of Environmental Sensitivities?

Symptoms may occur in any of the body systems and vary in severity from one case to another.

  • Skin: rashes, inflammation, itching, burning
  • Lungs: asthma, burning, twitchy, coughs, COPD
  • Cardiac: palpitations, chest pains
  • Immune system: over or under active, unstable
  • Muscles & joints: pain, aching, swelling, cramping
  • Gastro-intestinal: pain, bloating, diarrhea, and constipation
  • Central Nervous System: Tingling, numbness, skin crawl, twitches and agitation. Depression is common as a residual effect of a reaction.
  • Brain: Brain fog, loss of words, poor memory and impaired thought processes are very common.

What is the Environmental Sensitivities Symposium?

The symposium is meant for those suffering from Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS), Lyme disease, Biotoxin-Related Illnesses, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity, Learning Disorders, Food Intolerances, among other conditions.

Lucinda has gathered over 15 thought-leaders from all around the world to share knowledge, strategies and new perspectives on various aspects of environmental sensitivities. Sharing information that will help those with ES to take action to improve their health and life; as well, the information can help prevent people from developing ES.

Topics include electromagnetic hypersensitivity, chemical sensitivities, chronic fatigue syndrome, heavy metals (including lead), indoor air quality contaminants, mould, and chemicals(including obesogens). Every interview is informative and inspiring, and contains advice pertaining to the topic.
