The Eco Max range of brushes are ethically made in Sri Lanka using Fair Trade principles. Environmentally-friendly, biodegradable and entirely hand crafted, the brushes are kind to the planet and will replace plastics in the home. All components use natural unbleached materials, such as the Alistonia timber and sisal or waste products, such as the coco fibre from coconut husks. Even the sealant used on the timber is a non-toxic toy paint sealer so it’s animal and child-friendly and the wire is galvanised so it won’t rust. At the end of its life, you can throw the brush into your compost bin where everything but the wire will break down naturally.

Elephant Dung Paper

Elephant Dung Paper – Is 100% recycled handmade from elephant dung & office waste paper manufactured in Sri Lanka by Maximus. The paper can be printed on, hand feed one sheet at a time, or used for art & crafts. It works with most mediums of art from gouaches, pastels and charcoals to acrylics, not recommended for water colours and is excellent for wood block printing and calligraphy. The paper range is ideal for invitations and all the envelopes have a “Tree Free Elephant Dung Paper” seal within them.
