What do you do?
We distribute a range of NASAA Certified Organic and 100% Natural Cleaning and Sanitising products. Some of our valued clients include Qld Corrections, the RAAF, Schools, Food manufacturers, Supermarkets and Cleaning Companies. We are most proud, however, of the relationships we have built with over 200 Childcare Centers who use TNCC products. Demand from the uses employed by our commercial customers has driven us to now release a range of take home products to be sold online and in stores.
What got you started in the chemical free industry? Was there a trigger?
Owning a large cleaning company and having to care for the health and safety of the workforce made me realise the harm common cleaning products can do and are doing to their users and most importantly to our environment. When my partner developed eczema we started to look for a better way to clean and sanitize in a sensitive manner that didn’t involve toxic products and proactively reduced our environmental footprint.
All our products are 100% Natural, many are certified Organic by NASAA. They go beyond biodegradability and sustainability as they are made entirely from fruit and vegetable extracts. They are completely safe to people, pets and the planet. Originally developed to clean up environmental spills, we have successfully developed a range that has commercial and domestic applications.
What has been your biggest obstacle?
The most challenging obstacle we have come across thus far is shifting people’s perspective on the effectiveness of natural cleaning products, as well as addressing price concerns.
What is your most interesting/best TIP to help families reduce their toxic chemical exposure? Is there another non-toxic business that you think is great & would recommend?
Best tip, lead by example and don’t accept that there aren’t alternatives that work, don’t give up looking – continue to ask yourself “Can I be doing more?!”
Are you sure that the products you are using for your family are 100% safe?
